Why is single-phase geared motor easy to burn?

Update:10-12-2021
Summary:...
In the process of using a single-phase bldc gear motor, many users have the trouble that the motor is easily burned. Once the motor is burned, it will undoubtedly increase a considerable amount of expense. Why is the motor easy to burn? This requires the following reasons to find out.

1. Repeatedly start the motor in a short time. Since the current is very large when the motor is started and shut down, it is easy to burn the motor due to the excessive current if it is repeatedly started and shut down within a short period of time.

2. The motor is stuck due to some reasons during operation and cannot continue to run, resulting in a large amount of internal heat that cannot be dissipated, and the high temperature causes the motor to be burned.

3. When the motor is running, if the three-phase voltage is unstable, it will also cause the motor to burn out.

4. Water ingress, use in a humid environment or accidentally spilling water into the motor will cause a short circuit inside the motor and cause the motor to burn out. When the motor is damp, it should not be put into use immediately, but placed in a dry and ventilated place, and used after the water is dry.

5. The motor is overloaded, and high-load operation will cause a large amount of heat to be generated in a short period of time. The motor is naturally easy to burn out in a high temperature state.

It can be known that the main cause of single-phase geared motor burnout is unreasonable use. Frequent startup and shutdown in a short period of time, long-term overload use, and use in a humid environment will cause the motor to burn out, and the scientific use of the motor is not easy to burn out.
