Method for measuring temperature rise of planetary reducer

Update:28-11-2022
Summary:...
The method of measuring the temperature rise of each part of the High Precision Gearboxes:
1. Thermometer method: This is a simple and convenient method of directly measuring temperature. Alcohol thermometers are commonly used for measurement. When measuring, the thermometer can be placed close to the surface of the tested bearing or the stator core to read the temperature indication. When measuring the winding temperature, the thermometer can be inserted into the hoisting screw hole of the reducer. The measured temperature value is the surface temperature of the winding, plus the temperature difference of the hot spot (B-level insulation takes 10. c) is the hot spot temperature of the reducer winding. The temperature rise of the reducer is obtained by subtracting the ambient temperature from the reducer temperature.
2. Resistance method: The resistance value of the metal wire increases correspondingly with the increase of temperature. In a certain temperature range, there is a certain functional relationship between its resistance value and temperature. Applying this principle, it can be passed Measuring the resistance value of the winding to determine its temperature is called resistance temperature measurement. When the resistance method is used, first use the bridge to measure the value of the cold-state DC resistance RI of the winding, and record the ambient temperature (room temperature) at that time. After the reducer has been running for a period of time, measure the hot-state DC resistance of the winding. The formula can be used to obtain the temperature c2 of the winding. When the temperature is high, the loud noise is caused by the small fit clearance between the worm gear and the worm. When the assembly center distance between the worm gear and the worm is too small, the worm rotates at a high speed and generates friction with the worm gear, causing the temperature rise between the worm gear and the worm, and the expansion .At this time, the fitting clearance will become smaller and the noise will become larger.
